Using OneNote for Instructing
12:00 - 12:20 P.M.
PRE-RECORDED
Microsoft OneNote is an organizational software capable of consolidating a tremendous amount of information into a single digital location. The layout and user interface makes it simple to store and access information as notebooks; a series of digital binders. Notes can be hand written on a tablet, for example during a meeting with colleagues, or documents such as word, powerpoint, pdfs, pictures and videos can be imported into OneNote and then supplemented with hand written notes. Notebook syncing is done in the background through OneDrive and there is no worry of losing notebooks from a hard drive failure as everything is stored in the cloud automatically. With a tablet or 2-in-1 laptop connected to a classroom projector, instructors can present course material much like on the whiteboard, but keep a digital copy for future reference.

Online Group Work with Google Jamboard
1:30 - 1:50 P.M.
ONLINE SESSION
Google Jamboard offers a great space for student groups to collaborate, work with content, brainstorm or respond collectively to prompts. It's a good digital alternative for those times you would normally have students doing a short group task in person.
